On Saturday afternoon Acorns supported The Great Noel Run at Ballinderry for a very good cause. There was a choice of two distances a 5k and a 7k which were both undulating courses. The event was in support of Noel Wilkinson who suffered a life changing injury and has been invited to a match at Old Trafford as Noel is a devout Man Utd supporter. Acorns James McGuckin was 1st Junior in the 5K. Darrell McKee finished 1st in the 7K event and Gary McGuckin finished in 2nd place. Well done to everyone who organised, marshalled and took part in a very worthy event.
