Acorns AC Press Report W/C 10/04/17

On Thursday night Acorns were honoured to be invited along with other local running club, Sperrin Harriers, to the Pieta House ‘Darkness into Light’ launch night at Diamond Dental Clinic, Cookstown. The event is growing in strength every year and we wish them every success with this year’s event which is being held on Saturday 6th May at 4.15am. Our very own Belle of Mid-Ulster Ailis Corey was also on hand for the Launch. We would like to thank Diamond Dental Care for their warm welcome and kind hospitality.

As usual the weekend kicked off with Acorns supporting our local parkruns. We even had one athlete travel to Donegal to win a Parkrun. It’s great to see so many athletes supporting these free events week after week.
